Paclitaxel is used for the treatment of carcinoma of the breast, lung, and ovary. Our manufacturer, Biolyse Pharma is the first company to produce Paclitaxel from the twigs and small branches of the eastern yew tree (Taxus canadensis). Biolyse is the oldest manufacturer of Paclitaxel injection worldwide. Paclitaxel (Belcytax) for Injection is available in single dose vials of 5 mL, 16.7 mL, and multi puncture vials of 50 mL containing 30 mg, 100 mg and 300 mg paclitaxel respectively.
Health Canada approved Biolyse Paclitaxel as a new drug.
